Hanfa holds educational session for representatives of securities issuers
On 22 October 2024, Hanfa held one in a series of its educational gatherings with representatives from companies (issuers) whose securities are listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. This was the second educational session of the year, focused on the new regulatory framework for corporate sustainability reporting. Around 100 representatives from 50 companies (issuers) attended the session.
During the event, the following standards for sustainability reporting were presented: ESRS 1, ESRS 2, ESRS E1-5, ESRS S1-3, and ESRS G1, providing participants with insights into their application and answers to frequently asked questions on the practical challenges of reporting.
The strong turnout of issuers demonstrated the significance of this topic, and the discussion following the presentation further highlighted the need for ongoing communication, as well as knowledge and experience sharing on this matter.
The event also included announcements regarding activities related to amendments to the corporate governance legislative and regulatory framework to align with the new G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance.
