Martina Verić

Martina Verić joined the Board of Hanfa after having served as the Head of the Funds and Investment Firms Supervision Division, the position she took up in 2022. She built her long career in the private sector, starting in 2008 at PBZ Invest, where she progressed from the position of Junior Risk Manager to Head of the Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering Unit. She continued to develop her career at InterCapital Asset Management and Interkapital vrijednosni papiri, where she was a Risk Manager, and in 2021 she joined Hanfa as the Head of the Investment Funds and Investment Firms Supervision Department. In her work so far, she has been in charge of a number of supervisory and regulatory areas in the financial sector, including pension and investment funds, the provision of investment services and the performance of investment activities, and crypto-markets. She has participated in many legislative and regulatory projects. She is a member of several committees of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). She graduated in Financial and Business Mathematics at the Faculty of Science, and holds a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF).
