This is one of the most important annual meetings of insurance supervisors, insurance market representatives and other interested stakeholders that gathers hundreds of participants from all over the world, and this will be the first IAIS event held in person since the beginning of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

All participants will be welcomed by Ante Žigman, President of Hanfa Board, and Tomislav Ćorić, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development. Numerous international speakers will contribute to the event, such as Jonathan Dixon, IAIS Secretary General, Shigeru Ariizumi, Vice Commissioner for International Affairs from the Japan Financial Services Agency and Suzette Vogelsang, Head of Banking, Insurance and FMI Supervision Department from the Prudential Authority of South Africa.

The main focus of the event will be the resilience of the insurance industry, including lessons learnt from the COVID-19 crisis and challenges the industry will face regarding climate, cyber, operational and other risks and the progress of key global reforms.

As the host, Hanfa is inviting all interested parties to participate in this important event and thus contribute to further development of the insurance market. More details about the event are available on the IAIS website. The registration deadline is 27 May 2022.
