Icelandic colleagues on study visit to HANFA
Published: 2 May 2019.
Experts from the Icelandic supervisory authority (Financial Supervisory Authority - FSA), 65 of them headed by their Executive Director, will today pay a study visit to HANFA. Mr. Jurica Jednačak, Member of HANFA Board, greeted everyone in his welcome speech and expressed his delight at such an opportunity for a mutual exchange of experience and knowledge of the two supervisory authorities.
During the morning, HANFA's employees will hold a series of presentations to make Scandinavian colleagues acquainted with HANFA's scope of work and competence, its supervised entities, market environment and supervisory practice. They will also talk about the prevention of money laundering and the consumer protection.
In order for the exchange of information and experience to be truly bi-directional, in the afternoon the guests will hold some lectures for their hosts. This will give a chance to HANFA's experts to learn more about the Icelandic way of operation and the challenges in their daily work.
