Capacity enhancement for CCPs authorisation, supervision, recovery and resolution in Croatia
Hanfa participates in a technical support project involving national competent authorities for the supervision and resolution of CCPs in five Member States (Romania, Croatia, Greece, Poland, and Portugal) aiming to enhance their CCP supervisory and resolution practices.
The project is funded by the European Union through the Technical Support Instrument (TSI) and implemented in cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Structural Reform (DG REFORM). The project started in forth quarter of 2024 and will run for 24 months.
For the purposes of this project, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has been tasked by DG REFORM to provide technical support to the participating supervisory and resolution authorities by providing recommendations and capacity building activities for the enhancement of their practices in the area of CCPs authorisation, supervision, recovery and resolution. This project will also contribute to fostering cooperation and exchange of experience and good practices among Member States’ National Competent Authorities for the Supervision of CCPs (NCAs) and National Resolution Authorities for CCPs (NRAs).
