After the introductory speeches, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman said that the accession process is progressing very well and technical inspections are to be completed by the end of 2025, while Croatia is expected to join the OECD in the first half of 2026.

The conference gathered a large number of participants and was an opportunity to discuss the benefits that OECD membership will bring to the citizens and the economic environment of Croatia, with particular reference to the benefits for the business community, the improvement of corporate governance and the harmonisation of management practices in both private and public sector.
